Write to contact@piiama.com with a question, a problem or an idea, and say which iPhone and iOS version you have. There's no need to send a chat: the piiama team can't see your chats, and doesn't need to.

What you need
An iPhone with iOS 27. To answer with Apple Intelligence, piiama needs an iPhone that supports it (iPhone 15 Pro or later), with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri. On any iPhone with enough memory, you can download one of the optional models instead. Qwen3.5 2B needs the least.
When piiama can't answer
- Apple Intelligence is turned off: turn it on in Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri, then come back to piiama.
- Apple Intelligence is getting ready: iOS is still downloading its model. piiama can answer as soon as it's done.
- Apple Intelligence doesn't run on this iPhone: download one of the optional models instead.
- A model needs more memory: choose a smaller one, such as Qwen3.5 2B.
Downloading a model
Settings › Models lists the models with their sizes. Tap Get and the model downloads from Apple's servers, carrying on in the background; piiama checks every file before using it. While it downloads, you need about twice its size in free space. To remove a model, touch and hold it, then tap Delete Download.
Does anything leave my iPhone?
No. Your chats are written and kept on your iPhone. To check for yourself, turn on airplane mode and ask a question, or open Settings › Privacy & Security › App Privacy Report. piiama only shows up there if it downloaded a model you asked for.
Deleting chats
- One chat: in your list of chats, touch and hold it, then tap Delete.
- Every chat: Settings › Privacy › Delete all chats.
- Automatically: Settings › Privacy › Delete chats automatically, after 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days. Pinned chats are kept.
- A chat that's never saved: touch and hold the new chat button at the top right, then tap Temporary Chat.
Copying part of an answer
Touch and hold a word in the answer to select it, drag the handles over the part you want, then tap Copy or Share. To copy a whole answer, tap Copy below it. Anything you copy stays on this iPhone for two minutes and doesn't reach your other devices.
Editing a question you sent
Touch and hold your question, then tap Edit. Change it and send it again: piiama answers it from scratch, and everything after it in the chat is removed.
My chats aren't on my new iPhone
piiama keeps chats out of iCloud and computer backups, so they stay on the iPhone you wrote them on, and a new or restored iPhone starts without them.
Locking piiama
Turn on Settings › Privacy › Lock with Face ID, then choose just below it when piiama asks again: immediately, or after 1, 5 or 15 minutes away. Your passcode always works too. The app switcher, screen recordings and screen sharing only ever show the piiama mark.
About the answers
Answers are written by an AI on your iPhone and can be wrong. For health, money or legal decisions, check with a professional. The optional models turn down some requests, such as graphic violence or explicit content, and suggest something similar instead.
